BOOK REVIEW :MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE (4/5)
BY LORI GOTTLIEB
*SPOILERS*
So, it starts off with a big rough patch in the protagonist's life and how she continues to help people through their life, despite her own life crumbling. At lot of the times, the book reveals psychological reasons behind many common actions we all might me guilty of committing at one point or another in our lives. There were many pages in the book where I went "Now it all falls into place". I honestly got many insights into my own love life, and where I might have faltered or overreacted. I got a chance to look back at multiple points in my life where my emotional overinvestment might have caused turmoil in my friendships or relationships. I love books that give a small insight into how the human brain works, I always hope it would give me a better understanding of the people around me, but alas, that remains a highly entangled web which continues to get more and more complicated.
